"i stumbled upon you and grateful basked in your rays"

Seriously. My apologies (Eileen) for the lack of postage. I have lived in a whirlwind the past month and I haven't had internet access for about that long as well. So I can finally update! Where do I begin?!! Here's a top 10 of the past month:

1. I live in Provo. Again. Weird, I know. But I am really, really happy. And everything just worked out so well! It honestly could not have worked out easier--it's been such a blessing! (And I get to live with two of my best friends...practically sisters....in the fall!!)

2. I have a full time job. i LOVE my job. I work at Trinity Mission Health and Rehabilitation in Provo as the Activities Assistant. Don't worry, I've played BINGO, played Sorry (about 100 times), performed solo Karaoke, and made crafts like Mikey Mouse ears (for Disney Day) and bookmarks.

3. My wonderful sister Rachel is gone from Provo for summer. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but no, I wish school would start pronto so that she can be back! But before she went home and to D.C. she came to visit Grandma. We had so much fun! We got to plant the Sweet Peas and dig dandelions! It was so much fun!
4. Another lovely sister, Julia, came to visit me in Salt Lake before I moved. We had SO much fun! We lived at the park. We had brownies and cookies and chips and LAUGHED so hard. We also did this really fun poem writing exercise where we each wrote a line to an original poem, then we folded the paper so it couldn't be seen. We then wrote the last word on the clean folded part and then switched papers and had to write the next line to the other person's poem...back and forth....here's mine:

i sometimes feel as thought i'm a bird. a bird in a tree.
i fell down and bruised my knee.
until, one day, i met a man named lee.
the distance is so far to see.
i hope one day that i will have a boy, all for me!

haha it was so funny! we painted and played games and I loved it!

5. I saw "Confessions of a Shopaholic" 2 times in less than 24 hours (when Julia was visiting) and I love that movie! So cute. "You're like my soul sister."

6. I got to hang out with Camilla Scott--back in the fall we planted flowers at Temple Square. We went a few weeks ago while they were in full bloom and took some pictures. However, it was pouring rain! So we quickly resorted to "plan b"-- grabbed some food and saw a movie. I completely enjoyed the day and the company!
7. I have been so sleep deprived the last couple of weeks. I need to figure out this working/social life/personal goals balance.

8. I've had the wonderful opportunity to connect with old friends and make new friends! New friends that even like to play card games. And nertz! Get out, huh?! I love it! It has been o-so-fun!

9. My amazing sister Kate graduated from high school and for a graduation gift the 5 of us younger kids (Me, Julia, Rachel, Kate, and Bryan) all went to California for the weekend. THE BEACH! I hadn't been in 9 years. It was so amazing!
10. I am now home. It's so nice! I get to see my wonderful family and it's just spectacular! My friend Domanique is getting married Thursday and I have the opportunity to be a part of her wedding and do her flowers!
