crocker, williams and sonoma

So I don't know if williams and sonoma are last names, and last names of bakers to be even more exact, or if they are just cooking fiends. But if they are last names of bakers we most definitely have our match in katie. eileen. and michelle. (I'll be crocker since I already titled a blog post, previously, that you could call me betty...but I really like sonoma. Just for the record.)

Katie and I had been planning a bake day for a few months now and finally pulled it off! Eileen was back in town as well and was able to join us---what a treat!

We decided to keep our list simple. Cinnamon Rolls. Angel Food Cake. Carrot Cake in the form of cupcakes.

We got things made and baked and cooled and frosted and cleaned up, surprisingly fast. It was hardly a bake-day, more like bake-hours. Started at 10:30 and were done and cleaned up around 1:30 or 2...I can't remember. But let me tell you---it sure goes faster with two mixers, two ovens and six hands. But I absolutely loved the activities of the morning. baking. friends. music. chatting. loved. it.
