just a little throwback thursday...

To the days that I had a little human inside of me. I regret not writing about some of my experiences from when I was pregnant, but there is just one that could not go undocumented.

Shawn and I taught primary together in our ward in Ogden. We taught those fine kids that were 7, turning 8. I attended Relief Society only once before we were called to serve in Primary. Well, for Mother's Day, as in most wards, they give the ladies a break and let them all attend Relief Society. It had been a bit of a rough morning and we got to church about 10 minutes late. I hadn't felt well all weekend and was afraid I had some preeclampsia symptoms. Before going in to Relief Society I called my doctor, who was on-call and gave the nurse the information to relay on to her. The nurse said my doctor would call me back in about 15 minutes. The time was approximately 9:20-9:25 and I head in to the over crowded and stuffy Relief Society room. At this point, I was a couple of weeks away from delivering and I wasn't all that tiny any more. Seating was limited and I caught a glimpse of an available chair located about 6 rows from the back, but the second to last chair on the row. Forgetting my new girth, I began shimming down the crammed row, stepping over hymn books and diaper bags. As I started I accidentally bumped the lady sitting in the first chair of the row in front of me in the back of her head with my belly. That's embarassing. "Sorry..." I kept going. Next lady...yep. All the way down the row, I hit every single lady in the back of the head with my belly. haha! Who does that?!

15 minutes later...my doctor called.

I realized that my row was the last row before the aisle before the remaining 5 rows of chairs. I stand up, move my chair into the aisle, step past it, move my chair back and away I went. Awesome. haha

And, no, I didn't go back after my phone call.

Below, you will find a picture from the Saturday before Miles was born. We went for a hike and Shawn snagged a few pictures of me ultra-pregnant.I'm happy he did though because I had so few of me pregnant with Miles. So for all of you asking for pregnant pictures, three months later, you got one.
