I can't believe it's already been a week...but a week ago I had the wonderful opportunity to have my sisters, all my sisters, here in Utah. Julia and Kate came up on Friday night for the Ingrid Michaelson concert that was Saturday night. While we were at the concert Erica and kids in tote got to Provo and crashed at my house. Saturday, before Erica got here us four girls went to Deseret Industries and found some treasures. I got a sweet pitcher for 2 bucks and a game that I find totally entertaining entitled "Marry, Date, Dump". We ate Diego's and just had such a fun time being sisters. We also decorated shirts for the concert. Ah! I just love my sisters. Being at the concert and listening to "The Chain" was honestly about to put me in tears. That's like our sister-Ingrid-song that we all sing together in a round...I just get too sentimental. J&K left Sunday morning and it was so sad. AND! We didn't even get a sisters picture. Lame.
Then with Erica and the kids it was time for more fun! We played in Salt Lake after taking the girls to the airport and Brylin had everyone on Temple Square falling head over heels for her. On Monday I took a half-day and met Erica up at the Provo temple. Brylin loves temples so Erica tried to get to see as many as she could--what a great idea. Monday we just played and played. I'm so happy I took work off and got to play with them--I got to know Drewers better and holy smokes that boy is so happy! It's so fun to just play with him and make him laugh and smile. I loved watching Brylin interact with him as she would just love to make him laugh of smile and just kiss him while saying "Drewy, Drewy, Drewy". I can't remember now...but one of the nights we kept Brylin up until midnight dancing with us---oh. my. goodness. that girl can move it. I also loved playing the face-mimic-game with the little miss. She was so good at imitating all the crazy faces I would pull. Monday, we also decorated some cupcakes I had made. We laughed so much with Brylin spreading that frosting and shoving them in her mouth as fast as her little hands and her mom would let her. I felt so blessed and lucky to have Erica here with her two children. My love and respect for Erica has just grown and grown and I am so blessed with wonderful sisters! Sorry for the long sister/family testimonial-type post. I just couldn't help it. Those past events really helped me and influenced me. So now, if you've made it this far, past all those many many words...here are some pictures that document the amazingly fun times we had!
