happy weather. happy dinner.

FINALLY. It seems like an eternity since the days where I have had time and there has been nice weather just happened to fall upon the same day. But today was the day. Practically from the minute I got home from church, I was outside (mostly reading, with a little nap snuck in there as well, and a few phone calls to friends and family). It was glorious!

Rach and I had our "coming-out" party for my little table. I was sure we covered it properly with place mats so as to not get any stain on it that I would then have to sand out of it. And what better to eat on the little table for the first time than tacos! Yum. Yum. Yum. (to drink, apple-passion-mango juice. utterly and completely recommend it.) We concluded our table sitting extravaganza with Rach coloring, me reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, aloud. And we capped it off with Rach dozing and me making ice cream. How appropriate.

I must say, this little table is going to bring us many blissful summer nights. Dear kataroon is coming up this week (hopefully) and I sure hope to have it all done and we can have a proper celebration for the table and the entire summer ambiance.
