"so let the memories be good"

Oh, hey. Yeah, I know. It's been....quite some time. Shame on me.

I just looked through my pictures from January to date and that's probably why it's been so long since I posted. I went through a phase. It was an interesting phase. A phase where I felt a little lost and didn't have a whole lot going on.

Well, I'm back to living and doing things and documenting them.

Back in April, Jenny and I went to Arizona for a few days. It was a blessed relief to be home! And just imagine, I got to go to the Easter Pageant!! Can you believe it? I don't know if you can or can't. But I couldn't. I always ache to go home at Easter, so I can go to the Pageant they hold at the Mesa Temple visitor's center. So it was kind of a miracle for me to be able to go this time. I also got to see Grandma Jan and Elmer! Dean. Erica & family. Ammon & family. Celebrate Kate's birthday! Bask in the sun. (We went when it rained and was cold in Utah, about the entire time we were gone. Fabulous timing.) Watch Ramona and Beezus. Laugh. Shop. I Enjoyed every minute.

We came back and Angie got married!! I had a wonderful time celebrating with Angie and Steve and loved being able to be part of such a happy occasion! Congratulations to the happy couple!

Because Easter weekend was so wild and crazy, I didn't get to decorate Easter eggs until after. My roommate, Nikki and I embarked on our decorating adventure and had some really good laughs along the way. Eileen. We missed you!

see h.p.? i was excited to create him.
and he looks so happy.

oh yeah. so we didn't use any stickers. no sense in hanging on to them for another year. that would be unnecessary. so we put the entire sheet on nikki's face. also unnecessary. but really funny.

Lastly, for work, this week, we went on an outing to The Tulip Festival, at Thanksgiving Point, in Lehi. We did the same thing last year and took some residents. Funny thing. Last year, it was hot as blazes. We may or may not have nearly done in some of our residents (not really, but near the end, they weren't exactly loving us). This time, it was perfect in Provo, but in Lehi it was breeeeeezzzzy! Those hills were more than we remembered too. But we still enjoyed all of the beautiful flowers and I am most definitely going to have to go next year. And spend all day. And have a picnic. And take lots of pictures.

so this is the type of day we were having. residents that agreed to going, bailed. people needed to be changed. we ended up having an extra ambulatory resident. so what do we do? chelsea (my co-worker) sits in the back of the back in the wheelchair. she got the full experience.

and to top it all off...i definitely rolled down the hill at thanksgiving point. it was da best.
