how many times do i have to do this?

I know. You've heard it before. I've been away....coming back...I'm going to stay strong and blog more consistently...

Well, as for now, it's true all over again.

Lately I feel like I have a little bit more time on my hands and it's been a more flexible. I have also noticed that I have decreased my picture taking and that makes my heart sad. I go back through the photo's on my computer and it's rather pitiful. So I decided I would kill two birds with one stone. Really it's still two stones. And two birds. Pictures and blogging. But they're closely related birds. So this is mostly for me. But those of you randomly read this, and those of you that get the email, hopefully you'll enjoy a brief update every once in while (in a more patterned and consistent fashion) and I'll enjoy the documentation of my life in a more light-hearted way. I mean, I have my journal. But let's be honest, one day my posterity will want to know that I actually DID things other than write my thoughts and feelings in journals that I very carefully and aesthetically select.

So for today, I am happy to announce that spring has sprung. The sunglasses have come out. I basked in the sun on our patio chair at work with my residents. I am contemplating (which actually means it's basically a done deal) buying a fire pit for my backyard. I am ready for it. Embracing it. In fact, speaking of sunglasses, yesterday, while I was driving around, I figured it was pretty sunny so I went to throw on my sunnies and I realized that I had my glasses on. You would think that by the end of the day I would have realized that I did indeed have my glasses on. But no, by the end of the day, I doubled up the eyeware and laughed at myself when I realized what I had done.

Here's a picture for some visual stimulation. Cow-meeting. Mash and MaRin took me out to meet the little ones, but the little guys were shy and this one was super friendly. But so fun! Love them.
